Contact with the US Embassy in China will be established regarding our China program by providing the name and contact information of the program directors and participants.
All participants will be required to carry individual insurance (medical evacuation/treatment, travel insurance) of their own; we will alert them to the possible need for repatriation and medical evacuation and encourage them to look into these special coverages (websites will be provided).
Students will be briefed at AAMU about the safety and security issues related to the trip, and the rules and regulations for traveling abroad to China.
Students are encouraged to bring a cellular phone with international coverage and texting capabilities.
Students are required to travel in groups of at least two individuals.
Students need to follow a nightly reporting system to ensure the return of everyone before the allowed time.
